And the paint goes on
Painting starts! Used my airbrush to add highlights to certain areas underneath. I wanted it to look like the light was coming in from the hole in the middle.
Adding pink to the fleshy areas. I’ll be adding washes to these later to make them look goopy / gross.
Darkening up the bones and the wood spikes so they look more realistic. Face is still black and white. Thinking about keeping it that way, but haven’t decided yet.
And goo! This is a mix of Tamiya Clear Red (best blood base ever… smells weird though), with a tiny bit of brown paint. Pretty happy with how it looks, though I’ll be adding some washes to it to darken / color it a bit more.
